Job Description
A leading Pharmaceutical looking for SAP Fico manager
Education Requirements
CA/MBA(Finance)/ Finance Graduate with SAP Exposure
- SAP Certification desired
Professional Experience
Minimum of 2-3 SAP Life cycle implementation experience along with post – go live support.
8-10+ years finance and SAP Fico experience (IT and / or business) is required
· 5+ years of SAP Fico experience with an emphasis on design, configuration and troubleshooting
· Configuration and testing of FI/CO modules; GL, AR, AP, Fixed Assets, Cost Center Accounting (CO-CCA), Profitability Analysis (CO-PA). Product costing (CO-PC) and Special purpose Ledger along with Consolidation modules(SEM –BCS)
· Integration of FI with MM, PP, SD, Procure to Pay, Order to Cash and Product Costing business processes
· Knowledge of SAP ECC 6.0, Business Intelligence, data warehousing, application and design integration
· Strong Problem assessment/analytical skills along with capability of thinking of the big picture and sorting through an ambiguous environment
· Ability to manage numerous competing demands in an extremely high stress environment

Roles & Responsibilities
· Understand business needs in the area of finance and translate that understanding into a form that leads to the creation and/or composition of better process, organizational and/or technology solutions in line with best practices and standards
· Understand the existing solutions and identify potential improvement opportunities for system integrations
· Partner with finance team to identify and gather requirements to simplify and improve the defined process. Seek out new ways to reduce customization.
· Elicit and effectively communicate internal and external customer requirements for system and process changes
· Analyze and document as-is process and complete supporting documentation, including process diagrams
· Discover process gaps and perform feasibility studies/solution reviews and make appropriate recommendations
· Oversee development and maintenance of documentation (test scripts, specs, etc) in Solution Manager
· Understand and follow project life cycle and solution development life cycle methodology
· Create functional specifications and delivers them to developers and handle changes with configuration
· Troubleshoot configuration problems, research OSS notes, creates OSS notes
· Evaluate and establish change initiatives to meet business/technical needs.
· Coordinate testing, troubleshoot complex business and technical problems
