Role Summary/Purpose:Responsible for the Professional Solutions business strategy formation and implementation for the Indian market. The primary focus of this role is to grow sales within the professional lighting segment, with a special focus on LED lamp and fixture sales.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Build and implement GE Lighting’s strategy to grow profitable sales within the professional lighting segment in India across all product lines – with primary focus on LED.

- Responsible for Professional lighting sales volume and mix results for India; achieve/ exceed sales OP plan. Develop effective go to market strategies and initiatives.

- Personally champion selling efforts into largest LED opportunities across key verticals including Indo Commercial, Retail, Roadway, and Industrial customers to drive growth

- Lead the sales organization pan India. Attract, develop and retain top talent to improve SFE

- Create great customer experience. Champion GE advantage and position GE Lighting as a Trusted Adviser for our customers.

- Engage with Product Management regarding new product introductions, product modifications and competitiveness (cost) issues necessary to effectively compete in the professional market

- Support the implementation of commercial tools and processes to support sales and drive individual sales accountability. Build the project pipeline in structured manner by leveraging SFDC for data reporting and analysis

- Build strong partnerships within and leverage GGO relationships and resources to grow in key market

- Provide commercial leadership to drive growth in target markets through developing strategic Relationships: Monitor monthly/quarterly progress against targets for Sales , taking appropriate action when significant variance from plan occurs.

- Ensure all the upstream processes from all supporting teams (Product, Project, Marketing, SCM, Legal/Compliance, HR and Finance) are well aligned with sales operations.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor degree or above, Electrical Engineering or related majors is preferred.

- At least 10 years working experience or related on sales / business development, working experience in lighting and consumer electronics is a plus.

- Effective communication skills with all level of internal/external customers

- A strong leader, coach and team player with strong commercial sense

- Expertise communication skills with all level of internal/external customers

- A financially savvy and politically astute leader with the ability to set clear priorities, delegate, and coach talent; keen analytic, organization and problem solving skills, which support and enable sound decision making

- Demonstrated ability developing and executing sales growth strategies;

- Successful sales track record identifying prospects and interacting at C-suite/senior decision maker levels to close deals; aggressive, demand generation mindset

- Outstanding interpersonal and presentation, and communication skills

- Experience working with lighting channel partners including electrical or lighting distributors; fixture agents
